What happens when a loved one in the home becomes disabled and the care for that person could be compromised, is quite daunting. There are many agencies that provide the daily care needed to assist the disabled person. It is often assumed that as long as an attendant is sent to serve the client, the case is simple. Our family has been faced with the many unspoken challenges that reach beyond physical care for the client. So, to find an agency that seeks out reliable and compassionate caregivers, makes the experience worth sharing. We have been receiving health care services for nearly three years. The initial services went well, but overtime, the management did nothing to provide dependability. With Abundant Care Services, provisions are made to provide your needed support. The director understands that familiarity with the same attendants is importance to the mental and emotional health of herclient. My husband rejects unfamiliar faces therefore the director is careful to try to meet his needs. But one more thing that makes this agency special, is the attention to you as the in- home caregiver.
I have referred a number of long term care clients, and I have contracted directly for a number of private pay clients with Abundant Care Services. Linda Lucas, RN, BSN, the Director, and her staff, are patient, kind and compassionate when providing at home skilled care services. The staff is well trained, and Ms. Lucas coordinates medical issues with physicians and provides advice to families for their loved ones for healthier lifestyles. For my private pay clients additional services could be arranged regarding grocery, pharmacy, doctor visits, cooking and cleaning. Both my clients and I have been very pleased with their services.
Truly we thank God for opening up the door for Abundant need. Mrs. Lucas was notified that we needed home health and immediately, that’s professionalism! We appreciate how she scrutinised the specific caregiver Thank you Abundant Care for the total care package!
